We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Mission Pines Nursing & Rehab Center. As a valued member of our community, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents, as well as empowering and developing our staff.
Job Summary:
As an LPN Unit Manager at Mission Pines, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and compassion. You will effectively manage a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other supportive staff to deliver high-quality care, promote positive resident outcomes, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Manage and direct the daily activities of the unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Staff Management: Supervise and develop a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Quality Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.
Communication: Effectively communicate with families, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.
Operations: Manage unit resources, including supplies, equipment, and personnel, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Compliance: Maintain accurate records, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirments:
Licensure: Must be a currently licensed LPN in the state of Nevada.
Clinical Experience: Preferably 2+ years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
