Assistant Behavior Consultant-ABA (Center-Based)

Elite ABA Therapy, LLC is anoutpatient behavioral health center that provides one-on-one center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children between the ages of 2 to 8 whohave been diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental delays. We arelocated in Wilkes-Barre Twp, PA and operate year-round. Our clinic hours areMonday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are closed on all federalholidays. Elite ABA Therapy, LLCspecializes in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, whichare the most widely known evidence-based practices for teaching new skills andimproving behavior. Our goal is to optimize our clients’ independence and promotesocial integration by teaching meaningful and socially significant skills inthe least restrictive environment. Our clinic is designed to simulate an EarlyIntervention-like setting, but without academic curriculum. Teaching iscompletely individualized and based on the client’s needs identified in theirtreatment plan. Clients receive 1:1 individual services and are grouped with upto 5 other children to simulate a classroom. Each group of children follow adaily schedule of activities that include both individual and group formats.Individual activities include direct instruction of skill acquisition programsspecified in the client’s individualized treatment plan, such as teachingcommunication skills. Group activities include circle time, structured playgroups, and planned activities (music, arts and crafts, etc.) to work on socialskills and generalizing learned skills to group settings. The daily schedule is designed for 2 different sessions per day; the full-day program runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm., and the after-school session runs from3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Assistant Behavior Consultant – ABA Service Role and Responsibilities Assistant Behavior Consultants will be responsible for a mixed role including direct 1:1 services with clients and assisting BCBA's and BC-ABA's. This role is designed to assist Bachelor's and Master's-level students who are either pursuing work as a BC-ABA or BCBA certification but lack the clinical experience needed to satisfy licensure requirements, and those who hold a BCaBA certification. Most of this role entails providing 1:1 services with clients as needed when we are short-staffed, but it also includes assisting BCBA's and BC-ABA's with conducting client functional behavior assessments, writing treatment plans, setting up client treatment goals in practice management software, conducting norm-referenced and standardized assessments (VB-MAPP, Vineland, etc), designing and updating individualized DTT programs for each client, training BHTs on implementation of the DTT program, reviewing client data, reviewing BHT session notes, and . Other clinical responsibilities include attending supervision with supervising BCBA/BC-ABA/Clinical Director, writing daily session notes for billable sessions, and assisting with client/staff scheduling. Qualifications (must meet one of the following) Have the qualifications for licensure as a Behavior Specialist under PA code 18.524 except for the experience required Have BCaBA certification or other undergraduate-level certification in Behavior Analysis Have a minimum of 6 months of experience providing ABA services, a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or related field, and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA coursework from an accredited college/university Pay Rate $30 per hour Part-Time Employee Benefits: Accrue up to 2 weeks of flexible paid time off per year (60 hours) Performance-based bonuses throughout employment Elite ABA Therapy, LLC is anequal-opportunity employer committed to a policy of equal rights and employment opportunities freefrom discrimination and harassment.
