Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong clinical assessment skills are necessary. Recommended skills include prioritization, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations.
