As a Management and Program Analyst (Operations Manager), PT, 0343, 3, your typical work assignments may include the following:

• Analyzes policies and procedures in order to increase efficiency and implements resulting improvements. This includes identifying data sources and analyzing and presenting data in a variety of formats to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Assesses and develops policies and procedures regarding resource utilization, organization, mission and functions, work measurement, workload analysis, and productivity measurement;
• Collaborates with key leaders and managers to examine programs and operations and develop strategic objectives and business plans that focus on improving program performance and achieving outcomes;
• Lead Field Operations task teams in support of the national responsibility (such as budget, property, time and attendance management, training, and security);
• Serves as project manager to execute a variety of ongoing and special projects that may affect any office function and may cross organizational lines;
• Oversees staff assigned to provide a wide variety of GAO-wide business processes and administrative and support services and processes that enable the field office to function optimally by assigning work and establish priorities;
• Serves as the Security Officer for a field office's physical and information security programs and processes.
