The VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS), in partnership with the University of Washington Department of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, is seeking a dedicated, full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to provide exceptional care for our nation’s Veterans—America’s heroes.
Position Highlights:
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Some evening or weekend coverage may be required.

Our Community: With main campuses in Seattle and Tacoma (American Lake), VAPSHCS is the largest and most comprehensive VA facility in the region, serving Veterans from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. We offer nationally renowned programs in spinal cord injury, bone marrow transplant, deployment health, radiation therapy, mental health, and much more. Outpatient clinics located across Western Washington—and a Mobile Medical Unit serving rural communities—bring care closer to home for our Veterans.
As a major academic affiliate of the University of Washington, we train over 1,590 health professionals annually across 50+ disciplines, and lead innovative research in multiple specialties. Our strong funding base and research infrastructure support advancements in hypertension, Alzheimer’s, prosthetics, rehabilitation, mental health, diabetes, cancer, and more. VAPSHCS is also a designated polytrauma network site, providing lifelong care to combat-injured Veterans.
