This position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

* Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.

* Reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

* Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.

* Will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor

* Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.

* Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications for the role:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.

* Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed

* Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs

* Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
