Conduct assessments of current processes to identify or target problem areas, including development of Job Safety Analyses. Develop and implement process improvements and conduct necessary training to affected employees. Keep affected employees abreast of OSHA and EPA requirements and changes. Gather statistical information and present to Plant Management and others via reports or presentations. Work with engineers or outside vendors during installation of new equipment to ensure safety and environmental features and procedures are in place and understood. Document improvements using lean tools such as Waste Elimination Improvement forms. Complete required audits and reports related to safety and environmental compliance, working directly with company Safety and Environmental Engineers as required. Conduct follow‑up studies to ensure that new process improvements are working and being followed. Coordinate management and shipments of hazardous materials. Coordinate projects including TPM and Kaizen events. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree relating to Occupational Safety, Environmental Management or a similar field. Certification in Environmental Compliance (CECM) or related experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify hazards. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to design and implement effective training programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience Previous experience in manufacturing and safety.
