Lake Chelan School District has a job opening beginning immediately for a Paraeducator/Administrative Assistant at the Chelan School of Innovation (CSI) and Chelan Digital Academy (CDA). Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, 201 days per year. Salary range is $21.70 to $25.47 per hour for paraeducator duties and $24.90 to $30.58 per hour for Administrative Assistant duties, wage dependent upon prior school district experience in the same position. These roles will be divided into 3 hours of administrative assistant and 4 hours of para duties each day. An additional 75 cents per hour is available for an individual with an AA degree, 1 dollar per hour for a BA degree and 25 cents per hour for 50 clock hours. Requirements High school diploma. Preference may be given to an individual with an AA Degree or administrative assistant experience, particularly in the field of education. Willing to participate in ongoing Professional Development at the North Central Education Services District in Wenatchee. Valid first aid/CPR card; must also have or be willing to get a valid Food Handler’s card. Successful completion of Washington State Patrol, FBI, and Sexual Misconduct clearance. Extensive computer knowledge with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and data files (experience with Qmlativ management system a plus). Ability to work with a variety of people and provide a high level of customer service. Strong organizational skills with ability to keep accurate records and compile reports. Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication skills. Must be flexible and able to work with competing priorities. Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Assistant Assist with enrolling students into both CSI and CDA. Databases & Transcripts: maintain a database of student grades, generate quarterly report cards, and generate transcripts to verify credits to fulfill graduation requirements. Maintain and update student information/records in Qmlativ. Prepare Federal and State reports (P-223 monthly enrollment, Department of Health Vaccine Compliance, P-210 and P-210 Vocational Reports). Maintain monthly enrollment records, master schedule, course codes, and credit assignments. School liaison for Running Start, Technical Skills Center, and County Juvenile Detention Center. Perform other related duties as assigned. Paraeducator Work as part of a team to deliver services in the classrooms. Comfortable working in online learning platforms to assist CDA students with technical questions. Provide assistance to students who need help understanding assignments, staying organized and on task. Perform other related duties as assigned. Eligible Benefits Medical, dental, and vision.
