Job Description As a Compliance Monitoring Program Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance Monitoring Program for RBC's Combined US Operations (CUSO). Your primary focus will be to drive governance routines, support initiatives to enhance the Compliance Monitoring Program, and help business partners understand program requirements. This role requires regular interaction with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams responsible for executing compliance monitoring activities. You will provide guidance on program requirements and expectations, and promote successful adoption of the program. Key Focus Areas Governance and program enhancement Inventory and change management Quality assurance and reporting Cross functional collaboration and training support What Will You Do? Support processes related to maintaining Compliance Monitoring inventories across various oversight teams, including annual refresh and change management processes Identify and support communication and training routines to promote quality and consistency across teams Assist in developing and maintaining standards, internal procedures, and documentation for CUSO‑wide Compliance Monitoring Support governance activities and initiatives to strengthen the program, including alignment with risk‑based compliance monitoring and testing teams Drive quality and consistency by providing input to QA programs, reviewing results, and delivering timely feedback and training to monitoring teams Assist in collecting, analysing, and preparing monitoring reports for senior management, detailing progress, exceptions, and insights Identify opportunities to enhance processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and efficiency Conduct ad‑hoc oversight reviews to ensure accurate and timely documentation in CALMA, including conclusions and findings Serve as a subject matter expert for monitoring governance tools and resources, providing guidance to teams Maintain accurate records of governance and oversight activities, including risk registers and change management logs in ORMS What Do You Need to Succeed? Must Have 5‑7 years of experience in the financial services industry in compliance, legal, or a regulatory role Experience in compliance testing, monitoring, or QA program design and execution General understanding of U.S. banking and broker‑dealer regulations (SEC, FINRA, OCC, etc.) Experience with compliance testing or monitoring frameworks or audit practices Experience operating in a highly matrixed environment Strong ability to work with data (presentation, trending, analysis) and drive process improvements Nice to Have Advanced data analytics skills, including AI use Project management experience Audit background with regulatory focus Experience interacting with auditors and regulators What’s in it for You?
