Masters Level Therapist The Company Our client is a well‑established Non‑Profit healthcare organization based in St. Petersburg, Florida that offers its employees the support and understanding you would expect from top‑rated management. The Position Our client is looking for a Masters Level Therapist health professional to join their team in the forensics, adult or crisis departments. The Client is offering the following benefits and compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience Health insurance Vision and dental insurance 403(b) with 5% match 10 days of PTO + 8 paid holidays Student loan repayment through NHSC Malpractice and all fees paid by employer And much, much more! Requirements Master’s degree required in social work, counseling, family therapy or a closely related field; may be licensed as a clinical social worker, family therapist or mental health counselor. Licensure not required; licensed or license eligible preferred. Experience working with adults in need of mental health services and their families. Responsibilities Monday – Friday (8 am – 5 pm). Provides individual, group and family counseling services. Provides services that are consistent with the program methodology and in conformance with all program standards. Demonstrates flexibility in support of the overall mission of the agency on a countywide basis. Provides services in a manner that encourages the increase of social support and the use of natural support systems for individuals and families served. Provides therapy services which are culturally component, strength based, and solution focused, and respond to the goals set by the individual or family needing and requesting counseling services. Provides solution‑focused therapy that is consistent with evidence‑based practice. Uses respectful and strength‑based words and actions with individuals and families. Discusses individuals and families with supervisors and peers in an appropriate manner. Assists individuals and families in developing specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time‑bound goal planning. Be able to recognize and apply interventions or appropriate referrals to address a co‑occurring diagnosis. Meets productivity standard of 60% and a minimum of 100 client hours per month.
