We are hiring a Floater Utility Worker -- Production for our Chicopee, MA manufacturing facility. Available to work across multiple shifts based on business needs is required.
Job Summary: This position requires a high degree of schedule flexibility, including availability to work any shift as dictated by business needs. The Utility Worker -- Production Support provides critical support to manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the production floor. This role supports workflow efficiency, assists with machine operations, and ensures materials are properly staged and available to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Pay & Work Schedule: Hourly Rate: $20hr + applicable shift premium. Shift Differentials: $1.00/hr for 2nd shift; $2.00/hr for 3rd shift. Schedule: Monday -- Friday; Saturdays required during peak production or as business needs dictate.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (math skills preferred). 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred. Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to communicate effectively across teams. Understanding of production flow and material handling processes preferred. Dependable with consistent attendance and reliability. Willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and take direction. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and reaching. Frequent use of hands and coordination (hand/eye, depth perception). Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Exposure to warehouse conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise. Exposure to noise, inks, solvents, adhesives, and high-speed machinery. Must remain alert and attentive to safely operate production equipment for a full shift.
