Overview Head of Engineering (GenAI / Sales Tech) — Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid / Remote). Base pay : $180k + Equity.
The Head of Engineering will own architecture, infrastructure, and product development, working directly with two founders and guiding a small engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who has scaled early-stage products and wants the freedom to shape both the technology and the team.
Responsibilities Own the architecture, infrastructure, and product development for the core platform
Lead and mentor a small engineering team
Collaborate with the founding team on product strategy and technical direction
Drive delivery with a focus on speed, quality, and impact
Leverage cutting-edge AI tools (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Bedrock) as part of product development
Qualifications Senior / leadership experience in early-stage software products
Proven ability to scale from zero-to-one
Strong technical leadership with hands-on engineering skills
Experience with GenAI or AI-enabled platforms is a plus
