Hiring Range: $16.80 - $21.83/Hourly
Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Overview: This position will provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. The first line of action will be to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in any at risk behaviors. Next will be to summon the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Monitor staff will be knowledgeable and abide by patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies. The patient safety monitor tech needs to be able to multi-task, effectively prioritize and have a sense of urgency when observing high risk behaviors.
