Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics; Master’s degree preferred. Must be licensed by the Arkansas Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics. ABCOP or BOC Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics required. Training and Experience: Three (3) or more years of work experience with Durable Medical Equipment. Knowledge of prefabricated orthotics is strongly preferred. Job Knowledge: Must have a complete understanding of diagnoses, orthotic prescription, measurement, fitting and follow up of all types of orthotic devices. Must have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.
