Job description

JOIN REDMOND!

The City of Redmond is a thriving, culturally diverse community and is home to over 80,000 residents. Redmond is the hub of an array of commerce and industry ranging from technology, aerospace, and gaming to biomedical and innovation start-ups. In this role, you will represent the city, and our values of service, integrity, accountability, belonging and stewardship.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteer opportunities, managing environmental stewardship programs, supporting tree canopy and restoration initiatives, developing outreach and educational materials, cultivating community partnerships, tracking program outcomes, and improving systems and processes that strengthen volunteer engagement throughout the City.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative relationship-builder who is passionate about volunteerism, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and who can balance strategic program development with hands-on event coordination and implementation.

  • Mentor interns, fellows, volunteers, volunteer leaders, and other program participants; may coordinate and direct the activities of staff, volunteers, and participants in support of program goals.
