Special Education Compliance Technician

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience: Three years of experience working with special education student information systems student information systems CALPADS and an understanding of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) related to data reporting and management.

Education: Associates degree required Bachelors degree preferred.

SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education responsible for managing and maintaining student data across multiple systems including the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) Special Education Information System (SEIS) and Student Information System (AERIES). This role ensures accurate data collection reporting and analysis to support educational decision-making compliance and student achievement. The specialist works collaboratively with school sites district departments and external agencies to ensure data integrity and compliance with state and federal regulations.
