Job descriptionRoom patients, record vitals, and obtain medical history Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow Document accurately within the EMR system Perform clerical duties including reports and notes Maintain compliance with HIP nd OSHA standards Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies Support physicians and staff in day-to-day clinical operations
Medical Assistant (Certified) - Temp to Hire
Locations : Norfolk, VA 23502 & Virginia Beach, VA 23462
Pay : $18.50 - $20.00 / hour (based on experience)
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 / 5 : 30 PM
Dress Code : Solid color scrubs
Our client, a busy multi-location medical practice , is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their team. This position requires flexibility to work between two offices (15 minutes apart) in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
Position Type : Temp to Hire
Requirements :
- Must hold a current Medical Assistant Certification
- OB / GYN experience required OR multidisciplinary clinic experience
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Willingness to rotate between both office locations
