Accounting Coordinator

The UHS Corporate Accounting Department is hiring an Accounting Coordinator to provide support to the Senior VP - Controller, Accounting Directors and Accounting staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide support for SR VP-Controller, Accounting Directors and Accounting staff.
- Post journal entries in Allscripts application within monthly time constraints.
- Prepare daily cash deposit with monthly reconciliation and journal entry.
- Prepare daily revenue and census report, distribute and prepare quarterly operating statistics.
- Input various AP invoices into the Allscripts application.
- Review EE expense reports and prepare daily electronic funding approval forms.
- Prepare allocation spreadsheets for inter-company journal entries.
- Assist with UHS/UHT annual meeting preparation.
- Other combined duties, including preparation of various financial spreadsheets, ordering of supplies, coordination of off-site storage, preparation of audit committee minutes, conference room booking, and Universal Health Realty Income Trust tax return mailings and Securities and Exchange Commission documentation filing.
- SEC rep letter for 8-K, UHT tax returns. UHS facilities count 10-K property exhibit.
Qualifications: Associates degree preferred with 1 -3 years' experience in an accounting support role. Microsoft Office proficient. Strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task. Detail oriented.
