Overview The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Operations Center (NOC) defends, manages, and monitors the network operating status and cyber security posture of the VA by providing the day-to-day management, monitoring, operations, and configuration of the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) Gateways, the delivery of enterprise security systems and services, the conduct of threat and vulnerability analysis, the validation of adequate security controls within the enterprise, and the full range of functions across the spectrum of activities relating to incident management, incident response and enterprise network management. This is an on-site role. Responsibilities Project Coordinator/Analyst Team: responsible for supporting, maintaining and managing the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) through Capacity Management and Planning, Circuit Provisioning requests, Invoice reviews, and Mobility Services. Will directly communicate with Project Managers, Contract Management staff, Senior Engineering/Technical personnel, as well as other VA employees. Manage specified project objectives, project constraints (scope, schedule, cost, quality, etc.), project risk, and coordinate with project manager and other resources as needed. Contribute to the planning, tracking and analysis of multiple projects through reporting detailed information, analyzing data in support of project cost/schedule status and following established procedures while contributing to the completion of circuit provisioning requests. Responsible for reviewing the enterprise invoices for multiple vendors to verify monthly costs, identify and initiate disputes, and make payment recommendations on purchase orders. Assist with the development of standard operating procedures to establish compliance with the operational practices of the organization. Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Power BI data analytics tool. Reports project progress to management. Responsible for addressing employee and work-related issues relevant to the project effort. Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events. Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral. Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings. Must be capable of performing various financial analytics including forecasting and variance analysis. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project. Qualifications Bachelor's with 2-5 years (or commensurate experience). Background Investigation: Must be able to pass a government Tier 4 High Background Investigation. Compensation Salary Range: USD $69,900.00 - USD $86,030.00 /Yr. #J-18808-Ljbffr
