The Program Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial execution of a Cost‑Plus and Firm‑Fixed‑Price program by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis. This role partners closely with program management and cross‑functional teams to drive program performance, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic decision‑making. The analyst plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with financial policies, optimizing program profitability, and identifying risks and opportunities, while ensuring seamless integration between financial systems and intercompany operations. Essential Job Functions Work to achieve program operational targets to impact overall product line results Communicate with program management and cross‑functional teammates to explain and interpret information Support development and maintenance of PIMCO (Piper Industrial Manufacturing Company) program and budget Lead program financial processes including bids/proposal preparation, program billing/invoicing, and financial forecasting Ensure inventory transactional integrity between Piper core business and PIMCO Proactively scrutinize cost/hours charged to the program to ensure performance in line with gross margin expectations. Ensure appropriate revenue recognition is in line with budget each month Prepare weekly/monthly program financial reports Analyze program cost and billing details Advise program management and cross‑functional teammates on adherence to Finance policies, procedures, and best practices adoption Own the team’s execution of program finance deliverables including design and implementation of ERP program system management, financial forecasting, risk identification, and process improvement objectives Properly apply intercompany markup between Piper core business and PIMCO Utilize proficiency with financial ERP system as well as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Other duties as assigned Minimum Position Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Aerospace or General Aviation Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in a diversified environment Strong communication and presentation skills Attention to detail with ability to recognize trends that present financial risks or opportunities Experience with creating financial forecasts Specific experience with LN ERP System Physical Demands Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform and accomplish tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
