Job description
Wusong Tiki Bar is an award-winning, world-renowned tiki bar in Harvard Square. Join our growing team and be part of one of the most celebrated tropical cocktail destinations in the world!
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Restaurant Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various bookings and guest needs. This role requires strong organizational skills, communication, attention to detail, and an overall presence of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an organized retail area, take inventory and restock as needed.
- Interface with a wide variety of guests
- Communicate clearly and quickly with other staff about guest needs
Requirements
- Experience as a host or receptionist or in a similar host role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable using OpenTable, Sonos, Toast POS, Spotify, and other iOS based applications–or a willingness to learn.
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
