Overview The City of Cisco, Texas is seeking a full-time Wildfire Mitigation Coordinator to lead and coordinate the City’s wildfire mitigation efforts. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for planning and coordinating wildfire mitigation operations, completing fieldwork and maintenance activities, and submitting required documentation to the grant administrator and Finance Director in a timely manner. This position plays a key role in protecting City property, infrastructure, and residents from wildfire hazards. Responsibilities Perform mowing, vegetation removal, tree trimming, brush clearing, and chipping to reduce wildfire fuel hazards. Operate hand tools and power equipment, including chainsaws, pole saws, string trimmers, rakes, shovels, and woodchippers. Load, haul, and dispose of vegetation and debris. Perform maintenance on tools, vehicles, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform assessments on individual parcels. Interact professionally with residents, property owners, and members of the grant team. Attend meetings and provide regular updates to the Public Works Director regarding grant status and project progress. Perform other related duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
