Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports as required. Strive to maintain professional competence. Identify pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff and assist in assessing and helping pupils with school‑related problems. Enforce school rules, administrative regulations and board policy. Maintain communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff to best serve the interests of students. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Perform other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee. Qualifications Appropriate New Jersey State Certification (REQUIRED). 1 year of experience desired in Elementary Education field. Must pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement. New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect. Terms Salary: $67,055 - $94,219 per annum (salary, terms and conditions as per PEA contract).
