Job Description A leading general contracting company is seeking a Staff Accountant I to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate, or a candidate with up to two years of experience, including one busy season in public accounting. Location: West Chester, OH Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 Key Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Assist with bank reconciliations and account analyses Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Support month-end close activities and prepare assigned workpapers Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with internal controls Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 0–2 years of accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred: Progress toward CPA certification Exposure to multiple general ledger areas Interest in technical accounting research and process improvement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
