Job description
This is a Quality Engineering opportunity with a client in the metal/aluminium fabrication space, serving customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in SPC, PPAP submission, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis Client Details Our client is an ISO9001 certified manufacturing and engineering company, based in the Geneva, Illinois area. They specialize in the design, development, and production of aluminium and metal based products, components, and precision machine applications for various industry customers. Description Work with the quality team and engineering team through various daily tasks Prepare and submit detailed PPAPs Work through control plans and PFMEAs Manage complex root cause analysis, and associated corrective actions with customers Help maintain ISO9001 compliance and prepare for audits Utilize statistical process control Profile 3+ years in quality engineering, within an industrial manufacturing environment Experienced with complex customer PPAPs Ability to drive Root Cause and Corrective Actions Comfortable acting as a technical liaison with customers Degree strongly preferred ISO9001 Auditing experience a plus SPC knowledge a plus FMEA knowledge Job Offer Salary up to $110,000 depending on experience, education, and interviews UHC Health/Medical/Dental/Vision benefit package 401k Match 2-3 weeks of PTO, negotiable Other ancillary benefits Paid Holidays MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
