Perpetual Resource Partners LLC ("Perpetual") is a Dallas, TX-based privately funded oil and gas company focused on the acquisition and management of non-operated working interests in the Delaware Basin. Perpetual is seeking a full-time Title Landman with experience in New Mexico and Texas with expertise in leasehold title examination, ownership verification, and complex ownership calculations to support both lead generation and seller evaluation on BLM, State, and Fee lands. The ideal candidate can quickly and accurately analyze leasehold title to identify potential acquisition opportunities and is equally capable of working through complicated seller title packages with precision. The role requires deep familiarity with the unique challenges of Delaware Basin title, ensuring accurate research and calculations to support our acquisitions team. As a Title Landman, the candidate will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Research public records to determine mineral and working interest ownership and prepare associated reports Rapidly analyze leasehold title to identify potential non-operated working interest acquisition leads and communicate findings to the Land Manager and Director of Acquisitions Analyze title and calculate working interest and net revenue interest ownership for potential sellers following initial contact, including tracing complex chains of title and accounting for all encumbrances, conveyances, and burdens Review materials provided by third-party land services companies Review and cure title defects identified through title opinions or personal title examination Reports directly to the Land Manager and works closely with the Director of Acquisitions REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Deep knowledge of oil and gas leases, leasehold, and working interest title Demonstrated ability to perform complex ownership calculations, including WI, NRI, and ORRI, through complicated chains of title on BLM, State, and Fee lands Ability to quickly screen and analyze title to assess acquisition viability Superior attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability for independent thought and action Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines New Mexico Delaware Basin experience strongly preferred EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of relevant industry experience working as a Title Landman or similar role Experience working on a smaller, growth-oriented team is a plus COMPENSATION Full-time, in-house position with a competitive salary and annual bonus commensurate with experience Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with 4% company matching TO APPLY Interested candidates should send an updated resume to bd@prp-tx.com.
