Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant is responsible for the monthly general ledger closing in addition to the preparation of all journal entries. Responsibilities Monthly general ledger closing, including preparation of journal entries General Ledger Account Reconciliations Bank Reconciliations Internal and external reporting Special projects as pertains to business needs Providing general assistance to Accounting Department Work beyond the narrow and specific job responsibilities to advance the goals of the company Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field 3+ years of general ledger experience Property Management and/or residential construction experience a plus Knowledge of GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Quickbooks Detail oriented and hands‑on #J-18808-Ljbffr
