<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><br><br> Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has been deeply connected to the community we serve since 1956. We are comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and advanced wound care center. We are also conveniently located just two hours north of San Francisco and 45 minutes from the Pacific Coast.<br> <br>Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.<br> <br>Job Summary:<br> <br>Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.<br> <br>Job Requirements:<br><br>Education and Work Experience:<br> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Preferred</li> </ul><br>Licenses/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists †Radiography (ARRT-R): Required</li> <li>Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> <li>Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA within 6 months of hire</li> </ul><br>Facility Specific License/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required</li> </ul><br>Essential Functions:<br> <ul> <li>Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment for use as needed. Prepares examination rooms for patient exams. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams.</li> <li>Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information.
