Location: Bellaire, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $56.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and innovative Data Architect to support a leading healthcare organization in Bellaire, TX. This role is ideal for a strategic data professional with expertise in enterprise data architecture, data governance, and business intelligence. The Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data management strategies, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility while supporting critical business and healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data architecture, governance, and data management strategies

• Develop and manage enterprise metadata, data standards, business rules, and data definitions

• Lead data warehouse architecture, data modeling, system integration, and business intelligence initiatives

• Establish and maintain data quality standards through validation processes, audits, and data cleansing activities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex data quality issues involving data integrity, consistency, completeness, and accuracy

• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to improve enterprise data governance and stewardship

• Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and infrastructure solutions

• Participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and enterprise data strategy planning

• Support system integration efforts and ensure new applications comply with enterprise data standards

• Develop process documentation, data mapping, and technical specifications while supporting SDLC best practices

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture solutions

• Provide technical leadership on data management initiatives and mentor project teams on best practices

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data warehouse, business intelligence, and enterprise data architecture required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), data modeling, performance optimization, and full software development lifecycle

• Strong experience with SQL, Snowflake, Qlik, and enterprise data warehouse technologies

• Experience with Health Catalyst and EPIC is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integration, client-server environments, and internet-based applications

• Experience developing enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship frameworks

• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects while meeting aggressive deadlines
