We’re looking for a hands-on Field Technician to lead a team delivering residential energy efficiency and weatherization upgrades across New Jersey.
This is a great opportunity for a top tech who wants to step up, run their own crew, and make more money—without getting stuck behind a desk.
You’ll continue to work in the field while developing your leadership skills—coaching your crew, owning job quality, and helping scale a fast-growing operation.
What You’ll Do
Lead from the front – oversee and work alongside a crew of technicians performing residential upgrades (insulation, air sealing, efficiency improvements)
Coach and develop your team – train technicians on best practices, safety, and quality standards
Own job quality and productivity – ensure projects are completed correctly, efficiently, and to program standards
Solve real-world problems – troubleshoot installation challenges and recommend practical solutions on-site
Represent the company in the field – build trust with homeowners and partners while driving program participation
Track and communicate progress – document work, capture inspection results, and keep operations teams informed

What We’re Looking For
3+ years in home improvement or skilled trades (weatherization, HVAC, insulation, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Strong knowledge of home systems and residential construction
Proven ability to lead or mentor others (formal or informal)
A player/coach mindset – willing to work hands-on while leading a crew
Problem solver who takes ownership and drives results
BPI Certification (a plus, not required)
