Product Strategy Director - Provider Data - Cigna Healthcare - Remote

We are seeking an experienced Product Strategy Director– Provider Datato lead and develop a high-performing team of product managers. This roleis responsible fordefining and executing product strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle, and delivering innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes.

The Director partners closely with engineering, operations, data, design, and business stakeholders to align product investments with enterpriseobjectives. This leader continuously evolves the product portfolio byleveragingemerging technologies, including AI, large language models (LLMs), automation, and modern product development practices. The role balances innovation with scalability, risk, and governance while translating strategic vision into actionable roadmaps and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers across multiple products or product lines.

• Foster a culture of customer focus, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans.

• Promote excellence in product discovery, delivery, and outcomes-based decision making.

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and communicate theproductvision and strategy aligned with businessobjectives.

• Develop and manage product roadmaps that balance customer value, operational efficiency, and business impact.

• Identifyopportunities toleveragedata, technology, AI, automation, and emerging product development approaches.

• Evaluatenew technologiesand trends to inform long-term product strategy and portfolio evolution.

• Ensure responsible adoption of innovative technologies whilemaintaininggovernance and scalability.

Product Development & Delivery

• Oversee the full product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through launch and optimization.

• Guide teams in applying modern product management and agile development practices.

• Partner with engineering and data teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions.

• Encourage experimentation whilemaintainingappropriate controlsand oversight.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes effectively.

• Drive alignment on priorities, sequencing, and success metrics.

• Present complex concepts clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.

Market & Customer Insights

• Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.

• Incorporate customer insights and market research into product decisions.

• Ensure productsremaindifferentiated and deliver meaningful business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegreeor higheris stronglypreferred.
• 8+ years of product management experience
• 3+ years ina people management/leadership role.
• Provider data strategy experience.
• Proven success leading multiple products or complex product portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing product teams.
• Experience delivering technology-enabled solutions in enterprise or regulated environments preferred.
• Data andanalyticsbackground preferred.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of product management, product discovery, delivery, and agile methodologies.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience driving business outcomes through technology-enabled product solutions.
• Working knowledge of AI, LLMs, and automation, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Experience with AI-assisted product development, rapid prototyping, or experimentation-driven approaches preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, as needed.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 161,900 - 269,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
