Job Description

Create precision designs for mission-critical RF and microwave products. Teledyne Technologies is a leading provider of high-power microwave components for aerospace defense and industrial applications. What youll do

• Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
• Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation
• Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards
• Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks Inventor PDM Vault Altium PADs and MasterControl
• Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control
• Operate plotters printers and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings
• Interface effectively with engineers program managers and staff at all levels

What you need

• 510 years of experience in drafting design or related technical field (required)
• AS degree in Drafting Design or similar (preferred)
• Senior-level experience with SolidWorks Inventor or equivalent (required)
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling dimensioning and GD&T tolerancing (required)
• Altium/board layout experience (advantage)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens lawful permanent residents refugees and asylees)

Salary Range:

$44500.00-$59300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
