Job Summary
The company is seeking a competent driver with DOT credentials to make deliveries to businesses.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Deliverawidevarietyofitemstodifferentaddressesandthroughdifferentroutessome addresseswillbeindustrialwhileotherwillberural
  • Followroutesandtimeschedule
  • Loadunloadprepareinspectmaintainandoperatedeliveryvehiclesandtrailers
  • Maintaincomputerreportlogsofmileagemaintenanceandfuelforcompanyfleet
  • Safelyandeffectively secure the load/ cargo
  • Provide customer service/ resolve issues
  • FollowDOTregulationsandsafetystandards
Requirements
  • Validdriverslicense is requiredCDLpreferred
  • Good driving record is required
  • MustbeabletopassaDOTphysical
  • Abilitytooperate heavy machineryinavarietyofweatherandtrafficconditions
  • Excellentorganizationalandtimemanagementskills
  • Common computerskills are necessary
  • Schedule regularly has a startandendtime
  • Overtimeandovernightsmay berequired
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
