Job description
Under the direction of the supervisor the blender will manufacture a variety of dry powders within set specifications. The Blender is responsible for the quality of blends accurate completion of all paperwork sanitation of blender and blending area and meeting all sample analysis requirements. Responsibilities: Verify all the raw materials are present and accurate in terms of quantity and lot information before starting the blending process Add reach raw material in the specified order according to the blending instructions Discharge materials and powders into suitable containers and document the process Follow up blending instructions Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times Comply and adhere to all GMPs policies Accurately measure conversions and ingredients Clean and sanitize all equipment according to GMP standards Additional duties as assignedShift:3rd- Sun- Thurs: 11pm-7:30amQualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment with blending powdered food or liquid materials Ability to use calculator and other measurement instruments Basic computer skills a plus Flexibility for overtime when needed Must be able to read/write English Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingRoles Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to work in a physically challenging environmentWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
