Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a WSK/WSH Packer – 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am). Overtime is available as needed.
Job Summary:
Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types – WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
- Operates two packing machines, weigh scale, bar code printer and mainframe terminal.
- Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
- Set counters.
- Run out leader tape.
- Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
- Starts machine by pressing keyboard button.
- Operates machine until the quantity desired is packed.
- Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.
- Removes finished reel from machine.
- If order quantity requires more than what is on reel, operator goes through previous procedures.
What you will bring along:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three months manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
