About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and coordinate the organization's activities, ensuring the highest levels of performance across the enterprise. The COO will be a strategic partner to the President, involved in the development of strategic goals and tactics related to operations, personnel, financial performance, and overall growth. This role requires a long-term, big-picture vision for business and hospital operations, the ability to offer contingency plans, and the generation of innovative ideas. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving collaboration with leadership, organizing and monitoring operations to meet patient needs, and leading region-wide enterprise operations toward organizational targets. They must also promote a culture of performance and excellence, build trust, and ensure a healthy organizational culture with high levels of employee and physician engagement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of relevant experience in senior hospital leadership. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in improving patient safety and quality, as well as the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the efficiency of operations. The COO will be expected to build and sustain relationships with various constituencies and to systematically evaluate the organization's operations. The ideal candidate will be a visible and collaborative leader, capable of fostering personnel investment and excellence, and will be empowered to make decisions that support the organization's financial stability and growth objectives.
