Job Overview A law firm seeks an Environmental and Tort Associate with over three years of experience in toxic tort, environmental litigation, and regulatory counseling to join their Minneapolis, MN office. This role involves defending and advising clients in the waste disposal, manufacturing, and energy development sectors on litigation, administrative enforcement, and compliance matters. Duties Defend toxic tort, citizen suits, and administrative enforcement actions in various forums. Navigate environmental regulations and permitting under federal and state laws. Represent PRP in cleanups under CERCLA with consultants and experts. Advise clients on regulatory developments and policy changes. Requirements Strong academic credentials. Exceptional analytical and writing abilities. Excellent client service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Desire to appear in court with confident oral communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Minnesota or eligibility for admission.
