Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid to senior-level attorney to join its Health Care Litigation Practice Group in Sacramento, CA. The role involves handling health care reimbursement, business-to-business, and government investigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business-focused health care litigation, particularly reimbursement litigation, and must be licensed to practice in California. Duties Represent health care providers in litigation involving corporate disputes and reimbursement lawsuits. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with opposing counsel. Review contracts and legal documents related to health care litigation. Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials. Conduct legal research and stay updated on health care laws and regulations. Requirements Experience in business-focused health care litigation. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Licensed to practice law in California. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar License. Skills Strong legal research and analytical skills.
