This role is based in an acute care facility, providing essential nursing services to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. This involves managing patient conditions, administering medications, performing treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong clinical judgment and communication skills to support patient recovery and well-being. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions. Perform wound care, IV insertion, and other nursing procedures according to facility policies and professional standards. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions. Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic tests, reporting significant findings to the medical team. Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) setting. Preferred Qualifications Not specified.
