Key Responsibilities Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, completing tax projects, and managing to budget. Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects; assess staff performance for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed. Review tax returns prepared by staff; recommend improvements for accuracy and tax savings opportunities; gain increasing responsibility in reviews. Conduct primary review and prepare ASC 740 income tax provision engagements, including end-to-end preparation, review, and audit support. Research and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns. Respond to inquiries from IRS, state, and other tax authorities. Maintain strong working relationships with clients; collaborate effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services. Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives; apply that knowledge to engagements. Attend professional development and training sessions regularly. Adhere to highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned. Technical Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2-4 years of progressive corporate tax compliance and/or consulting experience. Strong experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions (end-to-end, including preparation, review, and audit); strongly preferred. CPA certification preferred; CPA eligible required. Experience in public accounting (top 20 accounting firms preferred) is a plus. Proficient in tax-related software for return preparation and processing. Functional and Behavioral Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Ability to travel as needed. Comfortable in hybrid work environment with minimum 3 office days per week. Additional Details Experience with multinational clients (revenue $100M-$1B) preferred. No job hopping every 1-2 years.
