Join Our Team as a Compassionate Hygienist – Full-Time Roles!
A dental hygienist provides preventive dental care and educates patients on maintaining oral health. They work alongside dentists to ensure the overall oral health of patients by performing various clinical and administrative duties.
- Clean teeth and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth using hand instruments, power tools, or ultrasonic devices.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive care materials.
- Screen patients for oral diseases and conditions, such as gum disease and cavities.
- Record patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations.
- Assist in the sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
- Administer local anesthetics under the supervision of a dentist, as needed.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate treatment updates with the dental team.
