Job description
Dental Village Associates PC - Dental Hygienist
We offer a supportive teamwork environment where your clinical skills are utilized to their full extent. From high-tech imaging to advanced periodontal treatments, you will have the tools you need to provide the best care in the Bronx.
Periodontal Excellence: Expert-level root planing, scaling, and Arestin evaluation/placement.
Advanced Prophylaxis: Engine and air polishing for extrinsic staining and fluoride applications.
Screening & Diagnostics: Perform oral cancer examinations, blood pressure screenings, and comprehensive periodontal/dental charting.
Preventative Care: Apply pit and fissure sealants and provide personalized nutrition counseling.
Education: Deliver high-impact oral health education and counseling to patients of all backgrounds.
Technology: Utilize Dentrix and Dexis Digital X-ray software for seamless workflow.
Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Dexis, Dentrix, and current infection control protocols.
Soft Skills: Must be an active listener with a dependable and self-motivated work ethic.
Compliance: Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
