Are you an enthusiastic dental hygienist looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? Espresso Dental is seeking a talented and compassionate hygienist to join our busy office on a temporary full-time basis while our long-time hygienist is on medical leave. This is an excellent chance to work alongside an amazing team and care for some of the best patients in Seattle. Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient screening procedures including oral health assessments, health history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, dental charting, and vital signs monitoring (blood pressure and pulse)
Take dental radiographs using Dexis technology
Provide routine prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing (SRP) treatments
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides
Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies and maintenance
Conduct periodontal charting
Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthetics as needed
Use laser therapy (experience is a plus but not required)

Requirements

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
Licensed dental hygienist

Entry-level hygienists welcome; under 1 year of experience is acceptable
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Washington
CPR certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Professional, caring, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work varied hours as listed above

Working Hours

Monday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
