James Bates Brannan Groover, LLP, a leading law firm with offices in Macon, Atlanta, and Athens, Georgia, is adding an entry‑level tax associate to its Tax and Wealth Planning Group in Macon, Georgia. Our services weave together the laws of income, gift, estate and generation‑skipping taxation, trusts, estates, charitable giving, employee benefits, securities, insurance, partnerships and corporations. We utilize a hands‑on approach for each matter. Our attorneys establish a personal relationship with each client and strive to formulate a strategy with a view not only toward obtaining the best possible result, but doing so in a pragmatic, cost‑effective manner that promotes the client’s objectives. Qualifications LL.M. in Taxation (preferred) 3 years relevant experience Strong academic record with a focus on tax law Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills Proficiency in using tax research tools and resources Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills A desire to continuously expand your knowledge and skills in tax and wealth planning law Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing or admitted to and in good standing with another state’s bar (and willing to complete the Georgia Bar’s admission process) #J-18808-Ljbffr
