Job description

We currently have 2 openings at our Richmond Hill, Ga clinic location: Clinical Director and BCBA. BCBA Job Summary Under direction of the Clinical Director this BCBA or BCaBA works directly with children with Autism. The Supervising Analyst manages a caseload of direct 1:1 service as well as provides supervision to cases on a monthly basis. The Supervising Analyst reports primarily to the Clinical Director and is additionally overseen by the Regional and Executive Directors. Typical Duties Perform any combination of the following: work directly 1:1 with children with disabilities as well as provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technician cases on at least a monthly basis, use a variety of ABA techniques such as discrete trial instruction, natural environment training, reinforcement and punishment to teach a variety of skills pertaining to communication, social interactions, academia, daily living as described in the child’s individualized behavior plan (IBP); train others in the implementation of the programs listed above; monitor progress in identified areas, record appropriate data regarding skills acquisition and problem behavior; attend meetings, conferences, journal reviews, and in‑services related to job responsibilities and professional development; conduct a variety of assessments as needed; maintain a variety of service‑related records and prepare reports related to services provided. Job Requirements Must have a current BCBA Certification. Highly motivated certified behavior analysts (BCaBA or BCBA) with a strong understanding of and ability to apply behavior analytic principles. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols. Ability to provide effective feedback and ensure that recommendations are implemented correctly to client programs. Work a minimum of 130 billable hours in a month. Experience in one or more of the following areas: conducting functional behavioral assessments/analyses, developing individualized behavior programs, conducting language assessments (VB‑MAPP / ABLLS), and/or implementing verbal behavior programs. Knowledge of Discrete trial methods: appropriate strategies and methods for shaping client behavior including sign/Mand training, increasing vocal responding, accepting no, interruption/transition, count‑Mand, 3 Step guided compliance, and escape/extinction. Microsoft Excel and data collection, report writing using Excel data, records, management, storage, and retrieval. Ability to Oversee individualized behavior plans and provide quality supervision to cases as evidenced by a strong understanding and successful completion of supervising analyst checklist, documentation, and follow‑up procedures. Keep accurate records and write reports; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards. Communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish and uphold cooperative working relationships with clients, parents, teachers, behavior assistants, supervisors, and other staff; ability to multi‑task and analyze data. Work Environment This job operates in a professional clinic environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to bend, sit, stand, lift, walk, and diaper a child throughout the day. Lifting requirement range is 5‑20 lbs but may exceed 20 lbs in some cases. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Typical days and hours of work are Mon.-Thurs. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fri.-8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Required/Preferred Education and Experience BCBA certification required. Master's in psychology or related field is desirable. Clinical Director Job Summary The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of our ABA facility. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that the clinic is in compliance with federal and state laws, guidelines, and regulations. The Clinical Director will manage clinical staff, develop policies and procedures, and work closely with other departments to enhance the quality of care provided to our patients. The clinical director reports to the President/CEO. The Clinical Director is required to be a licensed Board‑Certified Behavioral Analyst. Typical Duties Posts Signs identifying the clinical director in a conspicuous location within the clinic. Reviews patient referral contracts or agreements executed by the clinic. Ensures that all health care practitioners at the clinic have and maintain active and appropriate certification or licensure for the level of care being provided. Serves as the clinic records owner. Ensures compliance with the recordkeeping and adverse incident reporting requirements, respective practice acts, and rules. Conducts systematic reviews of clinic billings to ensure that the billings are not fraudulent or unlawful. Manage and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient care. Collaborate with healthcare management teams to align clinical practices with organizational goals. Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for quality improvement. Facilitate communication between clinical staff, administration, and other departments to ensure cohesive operations. Skills Strong management skills with a focus on leading diverse teams in a healthcare setting. In‑depth knowledge of JCAHO standards and healthcare regulations. Proven experience in healthcare management, including strategic planning and operational oversight. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively interact with staff, patients, and stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions that prioritize patient care. Familiarity with medical management practices and principles that enhance service delivery. Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards, communicate effectively, and establish positive working relationships with patients and staff. Master's degree or higher in psychology, speech therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field. Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. 5+ years of experience in behavioral health. Schedule 8‑hour shift Mon.-Thurs. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. & Fri.- 8 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Business hours Monday to Friday. Education Master's Degree in Psychology (Required). Experience Applied behavior analysis: 5 years (Required). Clinical Director Pay Range $85,000-$90,000 per year Signing Bonus 7500 included for Clinical Director position.
