Job Purpose The Senior IT Project Manager Analytics is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, enterprise-level analytics and data transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who can effectively manage stakeholders, risks, and resources. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence within the PMO.

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities) Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives This role partners closely with Business, Analytics, and IT stakeholders to define requirements, manage resources, oversee budgets, and guide projects through all phases of delivery including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review. This role will serve as the lead for the Analytics workstream within the S/4HANA implementation; the position manages the analytics team's sprint planning and execution during the S/4HANA build, ensuring deliverables are aligned to program milestones and integrated across the SAP landscape. While not requiring hands-on technical configuration, the role requires working knowledge of platforms such as Databricks, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, and other enterprise reporting tools to effectively oversee scope, risks, dependencies, and vendor performance. This position emphasizes both strong Agile and traditional project management disciplines, stakeholder engagement, and governance to deliver scalable analytics and reporting capabilities that support enterprise decision-makingThis position demands strong executive communication skills, including the ability to provide clear status reporting, articulate risks and trade-offs, influence senior leadership, and present analytics initiatives in a concise, business-focused manner.

1. Responsibilities include defining and analyzing requirements; developing/maintaining project plans and documentation; managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking, including capital and expense oversight; managing quality through acceptance testing; and leading post project evaluation sessions.

2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders; communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively.

3. Lead and direct project team members and third-party resources by assigning/monitoring tasks and identifying/resolving issues to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules. Lead cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, ensuring accountability and timely delivery of deliverables

4. Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning and roadmap development for upcoming initiatives

5. PMO Development: Develop and implement programs and project management methodology that is flexible, appropriately manages risk and leads to successful implementation of projects. Improve performance through optimized practices and processes. Contribute to PMO best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives

6. Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities) Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field. 10+ years of experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP, Scrum Master or similar certifications desired. Competencies Desired Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar project and portfolio management tools. Experience in all phases of project management from high level planning to execution to roll-out including change management, UAT and training. Experience managing a diverse team which may include remotes resources, third party consultants and MSPs. Responsible for vendor management including tracking costs and time. Strong team facilitator. Builds collaborative and productive teams. Comfortable with ambiguity. Flexibility in assignments and teams. Open to movement and change within the PMO. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in defining, estimating, scheduling, updating and reporting project deliverables and resources in a detailed fashion using PM tools.
