Job Description CT Technologist at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. This position may be eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus. Job Summary This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures. The technologist is expected to communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on patients ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. He/she prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care and customer service to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. He/she maintains and supports facility technical and procedural documentation expectations consistent with external and internal regulations and standards. He/she reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees and demonstrates independent critical‑thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions. Responsibilities The CT technologist will: Perform all CT procedures with solid to expert knowledge. Communicate and work independently with patients of all ages. Prioritize and provide quality patient care and customer service. Maintain technical and procedural documentation. Demonstrate independent critical‑thinking skills. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT‑R) or Radiographic Technician (RT) credential. Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree in Radiography or related field.
