Kosnic Dental - Dental Hygienist
We prioritize quality care over production. To support this, we provide one full hour per patient and hygiene assistant support on most days. Clinical Care: Perform high-quality prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal maintenance.
Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough oral examinations, including oral cancer screenings, periodontal charting, and reviewing medical/dental histories.
Diagnostics: Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos as needed.
Preventive Treatment: Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other anticariogenic agents.
Patient Education: Provide personalized instruction on oral hygiene techniques and dietary counseling to maintain optimal health.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and treatment plans using Dentrix.
Collaboration: Work alongside the dentist and team to provide comprehensive care and support the recall system.

Licensed dental hygienist
Licensure: Active Michigan Dental Hygienist license.
Experience: 5+ years preferred.
Software: Comfortable using Dentrix.
Soft Skills: A friendly, patient-focused team player who values meaningful patient relationships.
