Packer
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Packer to join our client's team in Wadsworth, Ohio. Hours:
2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Friday
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in start-up of the machine
• Monitor the quality of packed products continuously
• Use hand and wrist motions to pack products into boxes or bags
• Report any quality concerns to team leaders or supervisors
• Complete production documentation accurately and neatly
• Prepare area for the next shift and communicate relevant details for handover
• Follow work order instructions to meet customer standards
• Help clean scrap, label boxes, and place finished products on skids when line is down
• Maintain a clean work area with proper housekeeping
• Stand during the entire shift, bending, twisting, and turning as needed
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to work independently and with flexibility
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Prior packing experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Preferred Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years related experience (preferred)
Other Requirements:
• On-site work location required
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and turn for duration of shift
