Job Overview A law firm seeks a Structured Finance Associate to join its finance group in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on transactions involving commercial-mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful work and career growth. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts. Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development and community involvement. Requirements At least 2 years of experience in a law firm. Experience in commercial real estate finance, CMBS, or structured finance preferred. AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred but not required. Education: JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of Arizona. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and good professional judgment.
